About Us
(Me wearing a 50s/60s Lane Bryant Dress)
Welcome to Tokens ‘N Trinkets! My name is Kelsey and I love to curate great vintage finds for you all. My goal is to rescue little pieces of history, clean/repair if necessary and get them back into circulation so they can be loved and appreciated. Wearing vintage is a great way to be sustainable, while having unique pieces in your closet.
Check out our blog page to stay connected. I will try to post vintage resources, shop or market updates and more.
What is “Vintage”?
Items are generally considered “Vintage” when they reach 20 years. Items that are 100 years old are considered “Antiques”. “Retro” describes a modern item that has a vintage style. I try to always add the estimated era on my items to make it easy to search for the style you’re looking for.
Sizing
Sizing charts have changed over the years, I highly recommend you only buy vintage pieces by measurement to ensure the best fit. To get a great fit, I always recommend laying your favorite fitting garments flat, and use a fabric measuring tape to get measurements. To get a great fit, also take into account if the garment has any stretch, darting, buttons/zippers and how thick it is. We do not allow returns based on fit or if you changed your mind as we supply approximate measurements for every garment we sell.
Condition
I strive to describe my items accurately. I try my best to describe and photograph any flaws or damage. However, because vintage items have lived a previous life, please expect wear. I try to be thorough, but I can make mistakes. If an item isn’t as described, please let me know!
